What does it mean to sponsor a child?

Mercy Children's Home is both a school and a home to kids from all around Andra Pradesh, India. When a child comes to MCH we provide them with an education, meals, and a home. The kids are provided with 3 meals a day, uniforms for school, a place to live with running water and electricity, books, school supplies, and so much more.
Each child has a different family situation. Some are orphaned, other are semi orphaned, and some are born into poverty.
Everyone has a unique story of how they found us. When you sponsor a child you help us provide not only material things such as clothes and food, but you also help provide the teachers, staff and caretakers that are here daily.
